Stephanie höll nollan sista 20 minuterna
Vår målvakt Stephanie Labbé har varit på Landslagsläger i Wahington under veckan. Igår spelade Kanada mot Washington Freedom från den Amerikanska proffsligan, en match som slutade 3-3.
Stephanie spelade sista 20 minuterna och hade följande att säga:
It was really exciting to get the opportunity to not only play but to prove that i can play at this level. I have been working so hard in training that when i got the chance i felt confident and composed. I didnt let any goals in, had to make some saves, and overall i am really happy with my performance. This is definitily a positive to take with me, knowing the coaches have the confidence in me, and to keep working hard because my chance is coming. I just need to be ready again for when that day comes.
Närmast väntar en resa till Norge för den Kanadensiska truppen, och hon är tillbaka i Piteå nästa fredag.
